Re: What Bands have you Abandoned?

I was very disappointed with the new MUSE album. They are hanging on by a thread for me. I still love their previous works, but if their next album is as bad as their most recent, I will probably stop purchasing their albums. At first I was dissapointed by the new album as well, but after listening...

Book Spoilers± I have a feeling that they are changing the Shae-Tyrion dynamic. It kind of feels like Shae actually loves Tyrion. You know, with her rejecting the money of Varys. I could imagine that they will have her be loyal to tyrion and that Tywin will kill her which will drive Tyrion over the ...

I too think it is too bad that they changed the way Jon convinces Mance Rayder. In the book it gave a way more natural and personal way why Jon specifically betrayed the Watch. I mean if it was so easy to convince the wildling king that you can be trusted, it would have been done a lot more often.

I thought it was great. The most obvious product placement, in my eyes, was the Heineken bottle in the beginning. It reminded me of a scene in Thank you for Smoking about product placement... I actually really like the art style. Realistic wouldn't work anyway, because the planets are way too small to considered anywhere near realistic. In the Extra's of the Extended Edition they note that in the original script they had Faramir as he was in the book (not taking the ring), but Peter Jackson felt that wouldn't have enough drama, because then they would be captured by someone who only wants to help them in their quest and poses no th...

Hey everyone, There is a certain kind of movie that is completely realistic, if it wasn't for 1 element of the story. When I read I don't have the feeling that I need to do something else. It just occupies my mind completely without feeling very active.
Watching a movie however is so passive that I feel the need that I'm not using the time optimately.

That's just my 2 cents.

Ok, somebody help me out here. I think it is clear that the sword that Stannis has isn't the real sword of legends, as it is often said that it lacks the heat that should accompany it. However Beric Dondarrion does have a sword that is actually on fire and is created in a ritual by a red priest...

Ok, thanks! That worked perfectly. Then, I have a follow up question. Is it then garanteed that the function returning the kth ...

Hey, After studying primitive recursion a bit in a math class I took the task to me to remake some primitive recursion functions in Python using strict rules. Also, I second the criticism on Crash. That movie was pretentious as hell.
