On topic: So is there really a safety reason we have to have our tables and chairs in the upright position? As said above, it's so people can get out easily if there is an incident on landing. Also, the reason why you raise the window shades is so the crew can see where the acft is burning if the l...

Also what about when you just put a { without a control structure before it? Like if you're in straight-C and want to make a temporary variable. WHAT THEN? Moving a table may take days, but you're also asking someone to move a table that doesn't exist yet.

Further, what happens if I define more than one action to the same shortcut? Should both happen? None? Only one? which one?

Should I be able to assign multiple shortcuts to the same action?

Help with an integration [HELP GIVEN]

Hi all I need to do this integration for some kinetics analysis I'm doing. \frac{dl}{dt}=D\frac{M_{AB}}{M_B\rho}\frac{C_2-C_1}{l} They're all constants (greater than zero, independent of time (t) and length (l)), so it can be reduced to \frac{dl}{dt}=\frac{c}{l} . . This is where the difference of o...

formula equivalency in error analysis?

I'm doing some error analyses and I've qualitatively found the following equivalency: \frac{\sum_{i=1}^n\sqrt{a_i}}{n\sqrt{n}} \approx \frac{\sqrt{\sum_{i=1}^na_i}}{n} This is a good thing, as in practice, I can only know \sum_{i=1}^na_i , not the individual values of a_i . Is there a proof of this?...

My ISP has divided my bandwidth/data into on and off peak, with separate caps and speeds for both. I would like to automate my torrents to fit in with this scheduling.

Is there a bittorrent client that supports download/upload limits and transfer rate limiting on an on/off peak basis?

Lets say you were to divide 100 by 2. You'd of course get 50. Divide that by 2, you're down to 25. But beyond this, you can't divide the same way without having to use fractions. Of course, you could divide it by 5 repeatedly, but that tends to be less useful. Why do you pick 2 out as being a speci...
