Re: Potential Breakthrough in War on AIDS!

Somehow I can't see many women getting enthusiastic about having to rub products on their vagina every time you have sex. How exactly is this a breakthrough when condoms are easier to use and much more effective? To be fair, it's not an either/or situation. Using this gel in addition to wearing a c...

Re: French MPs Promote Discrimination Against Muslim Women

I still fail to understand how people logically expect this law to help women in any way. Before: - Women who voluntarily chose the veil can wear it - Women who are forced to wear the veil are allowed to leave the house, and can have some modicum of exposure to the outside world. After: - Women who...

Re: Bioethics: Discouraging female homosexuality at the womb

The problem is that if every parent individually makes that (perfectly reasonable) decision, we're left with no homosexuals at all. If, on the other hand, a significant portion of parents individually makes the opposite decision, to ensure that their children are homosexual, then maybe we get 60/40...

Lions are badass and eating a lion burger is badass. Not really, no. If you wrestled and killed the lion with your bare hands, then perhaps. But ordering a burger off a menu... a cooked piece of a lion that someone shot from a mile away with a rifle... isn't badass in the slightest. When you consid...
