Re: Voting System

How about a little + icon next to each comic, that requires you to log in, and can only be voted on once each.. In time this creates a ranking for all the comics and then we can view them in the archive, not just chronologically, but from best to worst (or vice versa) ?? Not a chance in hell. Vehem...

Yes, that is the correct comic for today and has been posted everywhere now. If you aren't getting it on the main page that is because you haven't cleared your cache.

Not sure if this has been suggested or not... but on the home page, I think it would be awesome to be able to use the arrow keys (left, right) to go through the comics. It would just be a small feature, but I think it'd be useful. Thoughts? There are already access key support, do you think the arr...

If you use https, yes that happens. You get that because the CSS is served from the CDN which doesn't provide HTTPS, and won't any time soon. Either allow mixed content, don't use https, or accept that your choices provide degraded service. There would have to be a very strong demand to make this so...

Twitter I suppose. Well, xkcd.com/810 is 12 characters - notably shorter then URL shorteners frequently make it. I am totally in favor of switching to another browser, but I found out you can get the title-text back without refreshing. The decision to have them below only was carefully considered based on the sizes of screens and historical comic sizes. We feel that above actually leads to a significantly less usable interface a significant portion of the time.
