Common comparisons are Built to Spill, Pixies, the Shins. I would say there are some elements of Built to Spill in there, but not too many. It's honestly pretty hard to compare them, they have truly forged a sound all their own.

It's a bass that's in a standard cello tuning (C G D A) with a low B on top. I run it through pedals and mess with my amp and it sounds so sweet. <3noise

I can do any drum beats we need. I also have a pretty good quality mic, plus acoustic guitar and bass...and noise. I have altered one of my guitars into a noise machine, so if we ever need some crazy sonic noise..
