Wouldn't a better solution have been to say "Aren't I too much of a pansy to fight you?" in terms that it would then be an adequate rhetorical question?
Are self-referential questions considered cheating?

My initial reaction harked back to the days long ago when the girls used to write "I <3 X ... IDST" or "IDET" ["If Destroyed Still True", or alternately "If Destroyed Even Truer" which is, you'll agree, grammatically brilliant]. Somehow, it would make me happy...
