Yeah, I pretty much share everything with my SO, including pregnancy scares and bodily functions/malfunctions. He doesn't really mind. He does stuff like joke about making egg drop soup with red food coloring and calling it uterine chunk soup.

On Birth Control: I am feeling very discouraged on this front. I was prescribed the NuvaRing on the 9th, and by the next week, I felt exhausted all the time, uber-depressed, was crying daily, and extremely irritable. I thought that the last time I used the NuvaRing, it was mostly free of side effect...

As far as keeping ibuprofen and the like from hurting one's stomach - I usually try to drink a glass of milk with my Advil or Tylenol when I know I won't be taking one with food. The milk helps prevent the stomach pain by coating the lining of your stomach. I've heard that milk can cause your stomac...

I'm kind of astounded by the shock and revulsion that the general public seems to associate with body hair on women. Women...grow hair. It's, uh, not that big of a deal. I only shave my legs and armpits when I feel like it, so they're pretty hairy a good portion of the time. A (male) friend, who is ...

Re: The Gardening Thread

I would err on the side of thinning rather than not. If you're really worried about the carrots that you thin, you could always just transplant them into another pot, if you have space for it. If you don't thin the carrots, you will have kind of wimpy carrots - they need room to grow big and strong!

Mine has straps, but doesn't cover my chest, so that it doesn't roll down, but I can wear whatever bra I want. I like it. If you have a strapless, dress, though, it wouldn't work.
