Alternatively, I have come up with a theory that I will never die, which is so strange it deserves a post to itself. I think I might actually have the same theory....... Is this the theory that uses the many-worlds hypothesis and a bit of thought about how your consciousness would experience simila...

In my strange philosophical journeys, I have come up with the idea that the universe will end when I die, because I won't be around to know otherwise. Therefore, if I am given the choice to save me (and a girl, obviously) or the world's population sans me, then fuck yes, good bye world. Alternativel...

Free postage?

From some bizarre Cyclopean tomb of my mind came this idea today. If you sent a letter or package with no postage, but put the return address as the letter's intended destination, wouldn't the mailman have no choice but to take the letter back to where he thought it came from? I ca't figure out why ...

beyond the need for a good dinosaur movie is the need for a sweet dinosaur killing video game. The first two Dino Hunter's were a good time but the 3rd one was terrible and i need my raptor hunting fix. Or rather i want to test my wits against a pack of intelligent raptors rather than just blast th...

You know, I think about things like this all day. Really. Does that make me creepy? I can't think of any reasons it wouldn't work either, but you would have to wear gloves that wouldn't rub off any sort of fiber or chemical.

This can be mathematically proven false by the simple question of "what happens if I show up at a dollar store with 99 and .99999999.... pennies?" Obviously I'll be .11111111..... penny short, so I won't be able to buy anything. Of course, a "Take a penny, leave a penny" jar cou...

Ooh, I was really bored while volunteering in the Indiana State Museum the other day (nerdy in itself), so I began doubling numbers. 1,2,4,8.....eventually to the billions. BILLIONS. Oh, i also painted a USB drive with zelda symbols. I'll post pics if anyone's interested.

Well, if we assume the driver is Jesus, this is very easy. But, for the sake of fun, well say it's an average, non-god Joe. Okay, I got it. the "island" is South America. panama, specifically. The tractor was driven from North to South America, and then used for the construction of the Pan...

Well, if you had a device that stopped all people, but time marched on, than yes, but I have always thought that if you stop time, then you stop gravity, friction, and the air in your lungs, which would effectively end the universe as time would be stopped and you would be dead.

I had always imagined the universe as a sort of 4-dimensional sphere. Like Pac-Man. No matter which way you go you'll always (eventually) end up where you started. Yeah, the cosmos is pretty f-ed up. But i think the chances of finding intelligent life are crippled by: 1) The possibility that they fu...
