Re: Get Out

I enjoyed this movie so much I'm making my first post here in years to comment on it.

As a horror movie, it was extremely effective and well-crafted. And the racial commentary in it was much deeper and more multi-faceted than I was expecting. It was almost good enough to make me like the TSA.

Re: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim : Bacon Workshop

Hey, I have a lore-related question: what exactly happened to Atmora? Up to the time of Ysgramor, it was populated with men and the first settlers to Tamriel came there to escape political problems, not the kind of thing you'd expect to completely depopulate a continent. Was there some event that ki...

I finally decided to make a character to get into the darker side of this game and do some Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood stuff. But I'm not sure what's going on. If I repeatedly take and then refuse a job, do the Thieves just snag stuff out of my pockets out of annoyance or something? Because s...

I'm pretty certain no models of the PS2 ever had HDMI ports, and I was fairly certain there were no coax connections either, but there might have been an adapter I was unaware of. Did you used to hook it to your TV via coax? Also, what kind of TV doesn't have a coax input? You still need that for d...

Hardware problem: I love PS2 but my new TV doesn't have coax

So I'm trying to figure out what kind of cable or adapter I need in order to get this to work. All my past TVs, including HDTVs, have had coax, but the new one I got for my dorm this year has component, usb, HDMI, digital video out and coax audio in/out, but no coax video. My PS2 is one of the origi...

I looked at the demesne page on the ledger, and it only shows income, not expenses. I'm pretty sure missing out on taxes from vassals counts as less income, not as a loss though. Yeah, withheld taxes just don't show up in your income. Showing them as an expense would be convoluted. I think your sit...

I don't like AGOT because people usually take a huge amount of time to plan their turns, and I get tired of that. But we did play it a bunch. We have one guy who's like that. Eventually everybody gets really impatient with him and rushes him along, so it doesn't hurt the game too much, but if the w...
