Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts (Random like the plague)

So you'd carry around a banana because it has a-peel? Or maybe an apple ? Hahaha, I totally didn't get the Apple thing the first time I watched that video. Along the same lines, you might want to carry a beet with you at all times. So the important thing is that I had an onion on my belt, which was...

Re: REALLY Annoying Misconceptions

"Amphibious" is not an exact synonym for "amphibian". Beavers are amphibious, even inanimate things like vehicles can be amphibious, and may even be called amphibians (although I find that annoying) and they're even less related to frogs. :) Thanks, I hadn't really thought about...

Re: REALLY Annoying Misconceptions

"Half-amphibian" sounds like doublespeak. If an amphibian can live both in water and on land, then a half-amphibian can only live in water OR on land? So does half-amphibian = non-amphibian?

I'm half-ambidextrous because I'm left handed.

I tried breaking it down in to 100 occasions of make-outs that total to 60 minutes each, plus 30 seconds per day for 77 years. Yeah, every one of those numbers seems too high.

Is there any significance within that brand for 31? 31 flavors maybe? Yes, they are well known for having 31 flavors (even though I doubt it is true any more). It was originally for a slogan or whatever about having a different flavor for every day of the month. The store itself is even sometimes k...

Apple will have a press conference on Friday morning (10 am, US Pacific time), where they are expected to give their official comment on (solution for?) the iPhone 4 reception issue. The unit of measure "quart" is named as such because it is one quarter of a gallon. Maybe it's because there's the pint in between the quart and gallon that kept me from making the connection. Please ignore the dumbness.

Why is the death of orphans considered worse than other kids? Mainly I think about how it is used in comedy - like crashing a busload of orphans or something. I think a lot of comedy relies on you not thinking about it too closely. The jokes make you think of something sad (kids dying) and then som...

Your keys are in your pocket in your avatar. I've got some software that can zoom in and refine the image, and scan the outline. Then I just run the image against the database to track the key pattern to a specific model. They don't change the key pattern every year, so I just had to guess.
