Other metalheads don't care when I tell them that I listen to Gorillaz, Enya or Jonathan Coulton, but as soon as I mention Slipknot they start giving me crap about it. The same holds true for DragonForce.

I haven't read any books that changed my life in a meaningful way, but some do make me look at the world in a different way.

I suppose they can be a waste of time. Playing games usually doesn't aid you in acquiring any sort of skills which helps you with getting a job and you're unlikely to make any money playing them. I hated pretty much all books I had to read for school, at least the Dutch ones. The ones we had to read for English class were a little better, but not by much. I do actually like reading, but not if someone is making me.
