From a review online: 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: 1.0 out of 5 stars It does not work on my Windows 7 64 bit. Re: TP-Link Wireless adapter issues

Are you using the adapters configuration tool? Generally when I have problem like this I kill the manufacturers tool and just use the built in windows stuff and it works fine. No, the configuration tool wouldn't install, it said something about the OS being 64-bit, but according to the manual, it d...

TP-Link Wireless adapter issues

Hello, I hope everyone reading this is having a great day. I am, aside from this adapter that is making me want to gouge my eyes out. This thing has been giving me a hard time since I got it (little over a week ago), it's a TP-WN722N b/g/n wireless adapter that advertises support with Windows 7. I a...

Re: Computer crashes while running games

Firstly, I'd like to say thanks for the help. :) The 2 'crash reports' that you posted are only a part of trying to figure out why it crashed. Windows and Game developers generally try and hide all the gooey details of a crash report, since the average person has no clue what they are looking at. Ar...

Computer crashes while running games

Hi, for a while now, my computer has been randomly crashing while playing certain games. It's not like this with all games, only noticed it with Borderlands and Starcraft II so far. And sometimes I can be playing the game for 3 hours and not have a problem, other times I will play for 3 minutes and ...

Cant load win7 after installing Fedora Linux [RESOLVED]

(For the record, this is not actually me, my friend wrote this thread on my profile because he didn't feel like making his own account.) Ok, I was using EasyBCD to dual boot Windows 7 and Windows Vista, then I decided to install a Linux based OS. I found and installed a dsitro of Fedora Project on a...

Re: Graphics card drivers won't install.

I know the fan turns on, but it still sounds like a power issue to me. If you have one available, I'd try using a 4-pin Molex to PCIe power adapter after unplugging everything non-essential (hard drives, fans, etc.) and, if applicable, using two 4-pin connectors that aren't in parallel on the same ...

Re: Graphics card drivers won't install.

Sounds like the card is broken. Even without any sort of drivers it should function as a generic display adapter during POST and in the BIOS. Try using another card in the same PCIe slot to rule out motherboard damage. Oh, and that card requires additional power to function. You did hook it up to y...

Graphics card drivers won't install. [SOLVED]

Hi, I recently built a new computer (today) and everything is working great except for the Graphics Card I am trying to use (Nvidia GeForce 9800gtx+ PNY XLR8 edition). I tried to start up the computer with the video running through the card, didn't work, so I restarted and plugged my VGA into the on...

I'd advise you to look at the specs tab in future. Straight away under memory it says "DDR3", with the compatible speeds next to it. Try one of the ones on this list instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007625+600036383&QksAutoSuggestion=&Sho...

I'm looking to upgrade my MoBo, and I had this MSI board in mind, but if I got this would I have to buy DDR3 RAM? Cause I just bought an extra stick of DDR2 for my current board... Hi. A few years back I got a wireless gateway so I could play online with my 360 and not have a second ethernet cord running through the house. It was a disaster from the start. Okay, well according to the sticker on my PSU, the model for the one I currently have is ATX-250-12z and the P/N is 5188-2622 (As I was looking up new power supplies, P/N seemed to be an important detail) As far as I can tell, it has 4 basic 4 pin connectors, 2 floppy connectors, 1 20 pin connector,...

Re: Does this sound like a PSU error?

It's not just the wattage that counts; the amount of power supplied to each rail counts, too. So while you may be utilizing <250 watts total, you could still be drawing too much power. Also, if the PSU is stock, or some off-brand unit, it is possible that it supplies less power than it's actually r...
