Confessions? Sure, why not?

As much as I hate the hipsters at my school, I'm really jealous of them because they can get laid. Everything else I'm pretty much up-front about.

EDIT: Why is this the most-viewed thread on the forum? Are you people that nosy?

Re: Encounters with the Politically-Correct

My grandparents migrated legally. If they can do it, so can anyone else. I should not have to explain why that makes no sense. It does make sense, unless you're being nitpicky. For the purpose of this conversation, my ancestors are all idiots who learned an iota of English by nothing less than divi...

Re: Encounters with the Politically-Correct

Illegal/legal immigration is a silly argument anyway. The US has been turning people down for immigration, smart people, hard workers, tons of people, for the past fifty to a hundred years to such excess that I can hardly call myself American anymore. This is supposed to be a place where anyone can...

Right. Learning a language and signing forms is much harder than rafting across the Gulf of Mexico at night while people shoot at you, and then living as a fugitive with no legal rights or identity. They just do that because they're lazy. I'm assuming you're not a xenophobic dick who's suggesting t...

I'm going to try to make this as simple as I possibly can: What would happen if you took a length of metal (say a needle or a pipe) just over 2 lightseconds in length and spun it really fast in a huge vacuum? Verb form of "Placebo."

Is there a verb form of the word placebo? As in, a short way of saying "to give a placebo?" I suggested "placebate" to my friend when it was brought up, but I don't think it would be correct.

(Is the guard still conscious? If not, disregard this):

Kevril makes a five-foot step (or less) towards the guard and uses Flurry of Blows.

(1d20 (13) + 1 = 14 for first strike)
(1d20 (8) + 1 = 9 for second strike; seems like it would be unlikely to actually hit since it's below 10)
