Re: 2157: "Diploma Legal Notes"

And that triple-click selects the entire line or paragraph?. Because using that technique works ...

Re: 2094: "Short Selling"

Wouldn't the person you borrowed them from be annoyed that their stocks are now worth less than they were? What's in it for them? Re: 1940: "The Food Size Cycle"

My graph-related OCD is going nuts... the graph rotation is off by ninety degrees. Time is the dependent variable gosh darn it! Re: 1914: "Twitter Verification"

it's not a "most valuable member" badge or anything. I believe the badge comes with a significant upgrade to the features of the account, such as additional filters and spam-handling tools. Stuff like that. Most importantly, it bumps up the visibility of the person's tweets through things...

I disagree: It pretty much undoes the Acadian expulsion and has the Cajuns return to where the British kicked them out of, so I'd put that in the win column.

Good news subjects! You all get to take a trip to work with an outside researcher.

Caroline will be waiting for you up in Michigan, my apologies if she's a bit shy and doesn't meet you face to face.

Re: 1509: "Scenery Cheat Sheet"

The "A Christmas Story" region manages to just miss the places that you could reliably recognize from the film, which are in the Toronto area.

Re: 1501: Mysteries

Mary Celeste: Not mysterious at all, she was carrying mineral spirits and when she was found some of the barrels had clearly been leaking. The day she was abandoned was rather hot and the crew clearly feared an explosion. Note the absence of the ship's boat and the snapped line trailing in the water...
