Perhaps there is a way to store energy on a much smaller scale: in intermolecular bonds. This is basically what biological systems do. It has some inefficiencies, but the end result can be incredibly stable. And if we can come up with way to produce an exothermic chain-reaction in trees we'd be set...

Part of the reason we're so sure that there aren't antimatter stars is that we don't see any antimatter collisions from cosmic rays. Most of those cosmic rays are small particles accelerated to incredible speeds by distant supernovas (confirm/deny this?), and we haven't seen any collisions consisten...

I suggest that the first thing you do is make them a system of linear equations, in the form of a1x1 + a2x2+ ... + anxn = C. That way, you can use some of the general system-solving methods like elimination to possibly get a cleaner answer.

My issue isn't with due process, which absolutely should continue to exist, if I haven't made that clear enough. It's with the sentencing. Electric or chemical heater. Adding solute. Applying large pressure. That's what I can think of off the top of my head. I'd suggest the heater, because you're already producing energy. You'd just get slightly lower gas mileage. Also, you can try insulating the tank to keep heating costs to a minimum.
