Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - #sharkweek on irc.foonetic.ne

Back acne is pretty common, it's generally just a hormonal thing that happens with age (i don't know what age you are, but most commonly it would occur in teens/twenties, and resolve on its own as you get older). It's unlikely to be related to anything you've done or not done - and in fact the same ...

Yes, you can definitely have PCOS without being overweight, although it's less common in people who aren't overweight. I suspect that what your Doc suggests will be based on what symptoms you are finding most troublesome. If it's the irregular periods or acne, then the combined oral contraceptive pi...

That's...just... Ugh. It's really not surprising, but it is awful. I really can't stand people sometimes. I mean, even if you don't "agree" with homosexuality, how on earth can you subject your loved one to a process like this? Presumably because you agree with the premises upon which the...

Yeah, i agree with GraphiteGirl - it's pretty context-dependent how comfortable i am getting naked, it depends a lot on how likely i think the people present are to misinterpret it (i.e. judge my body and/or see the nakedness as a sexual thing). I think being a medic has helped - once upon a time i'...

and this for lesbian:
