Re: Blazblue: Calamity Trigger

Not really. Nine characters have an unlockable special finishing attack if you beat the arcade mode with them (the other three have theirs available from the start), and four characters have special boss-mode versions to unlock. Neither of those can be used in ranked online matches, and they're usua...

Blazblue: Calamity Trigger

Surprised to not even see a mention of this game anywhere on the forum. I can't be the only one here playing it. Blazblue is 2d fighting game by Arc System Works and the spiritual successor to the Guilty Gear series. It was released in arcades in Noverber and for the PS3 and 360 about two weeks ago....

I didn't mind the combat in the first one, but I hope the new weapons offer some good variety. At the very least, I look forward to seeing all of the different killing animations each one has to offer. I'd be pissed if they toned down the amount of unique counters and finishers in exchange for the i...

Guys, no. If you use the most efficient way of dispaching opponents, it's NOT FUN and you're playing the game WRONG. You just don't get it. You can't hit the attack button right when you strike them either because you'll instantly kill them and that's bo-ring . I mean seriously, who wants to just ki...

2 is definitely the best, and probably the scariest. 3 has some moments that cause it to come in a close second, though. I second the part about 2 being the best, but I personally found 3 to be scarier. The first half was pretty average, but the hospital/amusement park/church near the end were all ...

I too hate tripping because it automatically makes me lose instantly every time and fills me with rage. This huge game mechanic makes the game completely uplayable and worthless, really. As a pro gamer, I demand perfection.

See, I'm the kind of guy that relishes in the act of being annoying as fuck with kirby. See, I like doing the same thing with Metaknight, and think Metaknight's better at it, he's slightly less mobile, but his straight B is a solid Damage factory, and it even has a slight smack at the end. Mario Kart seems to get a loud, long string of profanity out of me at least once every time I play it. That game really loves to screw you over sometimes often. And their cats.

I beat the 15-minute the cheap way by repeatedly flying under the stage with Pit. I've had the easiest time in 100-man with Meta Knight and Donkey Kong.
