Chrome + Windows 7 is showing them correctly.

Chrome + Android too.

If you are using Linux and don't see them, you may need to find a font that support those symbols.

Laptop to DAT projector, or something along those lines. The projector we have at the office has options to input data using USB A, USB B, HDMI, Serial, Component, S-Video, RCA, and Coax. USB A and USB B are different things, though, with different uses... assuming your projector is designed sanely...

Regarding XHTML, why does anybody think readonly="readonly" is better than just readonly ? If you want to be anal about attributes having explicit values I could see a case for readonly="1" or readonly="true" , but assigning it to itself makes no sense and looks stupid...

Well, IMHO (X)HTML isn't difficult to 'learn' at all. Just know the root element (html), the head and the body, and the simplest elements like title/p/div/span/a/img/br... I don't care much, I just submit my result to the W3C Markup Validation Service and if it turns out to be Valid that's all. But ...
