Re: "Voting Machines" discussion

The best voting system is the old fashion punch out little piece of paper next to your choice's name..... but only if you get a paper hole puncher...... for free....... to keep forever. Great analogy though.

Andy Dufrain... Andy Dufrain... What a beautiful movie. Does anyone remember the part when they were tarring the roof, and they got the beers? What did Red say, exactly? "And the day, as we sat there on the roof, we felt like Kings" 9paraphrased) What was that speech? We sat and drank wit...

I once got directions from someone that included the step "turn right when you get to the field with the rabbit in it." And damned if there wasn't a rabbit in that field. >You see ye flask. >Get flask >You can not get ye flask The directions made me think of HomeStarRunner as well. Exits ...

Not at all. I was waiting for the raptor attack. Per-chance it will happen if I go back to the comic and stare for 3 more hours.......

Made me think of the Cyanide and Happiness comic (just can't find the one in question) where one character asks "If there's somethin' strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call? If it's somethin' weird an it won't look good, who ya gonna call?" And the next panel shows someone else an...

You probably react the same way with the word "wicked" That storm was wicked bad. From a fellow New Englander (Maine here) I didn't even have to look at your home state when I saw the wicked. Such a useful word in any conversation. I also see the ovaries resemblance. *edited for spelling ...

Re: 'Upcoming Hurricanes' discussion

I think we are all missing the real point of this comic. Obviously we are meant to wonder if the Illinois hurricane started on the more northern part of its route and went back on a more southernly route or vice-versa. And if it did go from north to south then why did it not pay Ohio a visit. Awesom...

I find it much easier to BS music and art. I was suppose to play the theme from Titanic (happy to say I do not know the theme) on the guitar for a music class. I took a guitar, confidently strolled to the front of the class and started to randomly play my interpretation of what the theme should soul...

I think that in high school I found it hard to challenge myself in math but then again high school was a joke for any subject. In college however I find that I can take courses that help push me and keep me thinking. Hopefully my best days aren't behind me because if they are then I must have slept ...

Curiously, according to the Wikipedia article, MacGyver doesn't solve a problem in every episode. He doesn't solve a problem in: 1 episode in season 1; 1 episode in season 2; 2 episodes in season 3; 8 episodes in season 4; 11 episodes in season 5. He did indeed get lazy in his later years! ... Your multipurpose towel is useful in all sorts of situations - it's better to bring two if there is space so that one may be ripped up in case a situation arises.
