I bought on of those cheap desk lamps with a bulb that was supposed to last 10000 hours. The in-line switch crapped out after a week.

I haven't read any of the Discworld books yet. they are part of the stack I haven't gotten to. but I did find this webpage that shows a chronological order to the stories and the threads.
