Re: Love in 2-D. (Manga)

Actually, this guy is very, very lucky. The worst falling in love with a pillowcase can do, is people looking at you funny. I'll take that, please, over falling in love with an actual woman who strings you along and then breaks your heart. A pillowcase will never break your heart! A pillowcase will...

Re: "Anatomy Text" Discussion

I've noticed that I don't really find some of the XKCD comics all that funny. I don't think they are all meant to be humorous. Some of them are absurd, some of them are making a point, some of them are on the cutesy/sentimental side. I once wanted to show XKCD to my dad. The comic that day was kind ...

Re: "Third of teenage girls suffer abuse in relationships"

If I make a purchase, and later feel that in retrospect I paid too much, it is not acceptable for me to go around claiming I was robbed and implying that the merchant is a thief. Regardless of how I feel, the event that occurred does not meet the objective definition of theft and thus I cannot term...

So if the person simply goes along with it, that is an 'enthusiastic yes'? How is this definition of 'enthusiastic yes' different from the 'no means no' thing? I know that is what you mean with it. It's still a bad concept. Not everybody is resolute or unreserved in expressing their desire for sex. Some people don't even want to be. The only concept of consent that should count is the one of 'informed consent'. Requiring enthousiasm (or resoluteness) is n...
