lawl, pictures are a must otherwise you sir are a good story teller.

i would say compressed air to blast it to the bottom would be your best bet... i wouldn't want a dead spider ending up on a circuit board or something inside it... but who knows mountains of dust balls are in there im sure

why don't you just run each lane (not right after each other) and see which lanes seem easiest to you and shoot for those. Even if it doesn't require any extra energy to run your choice lane, if you perceive it to be less tiring then you are already doing better than you would in the other lanes.

I don't think you can judge whether or not a discipline is science by how universities group them together.
