Re: Majority of Republicans support rights for same-sex coup

Zyphlin: thoughts are as follows: in this case you're preahing to he converted. The governments, state and federal, should allow any competent adults to agree to do what they want and protect those agreements by force of law. The question before us is how should the social body of us treat agreemen...

Re: TSA frisking babies?

In all reality this was far more likely to have happened because some TSA employee got stuck in a random situation where the protocols called for the act to be done but was obviously not crafted with the notion in mind that you'd be swiping and testing and searching an infant and thus tried to follo...

Re: Majority of Republicans support rights for same-sex coup

That is a thing of religions: many, if not most, of them are stupid and awful. I'd say that about belief systems in general. I can't think of any general view point on life that if follow by someone rather strictly and actually exists that doesn't encourage the person in some way, shape, or form ac...

Re: Majority of Republicans support rights for same-sex coup

I do confirm that, but let's be strict about what we're talking about. It's entering into a legal contract that's the sex-separated concept here, something that requires a positive action by the government, as opposed to a private action that has to be protected by the government. A man can (post-L...

Re: Majority of Republicans support rights for same-sex coup

Under the laws of most states, they cannot even civilly unionize, and in none can they marry. Gotcha. So therefore you seem to be confirming that a man can do something a female can't...marry a woman. Likewise, you seem to be confirming that a woman can't do something a man can do...marry a man. Them. Eventually they'll die. Only if you think that neither option is reachable in the next 10 to 20 years. However, I would suggest that if its going to take 10 to 20 to get it called "marriage" but say 3 to 5 to get it called a Civil Union, that the harm is far more on the same sex mar...

Not really a conservative. A libertarian for certain, right-winger is accurate. To the second question, I answer yes. Good enough for my point. Now for the next set of questions. First. Under the current marriage laws I'm sure you'd agree that Women can't marry Women and Men can't marry Men. Yes? S...

Maybe I'm misreading you, but you seem to be saying that terming all legal unions as "civil unions" instead of marriages is the best solution? Firstly, you suffer from irrelevance there. People aren't going to propose civil unions, they'll propose marriage. And even if they aren't religio...
