Re: Avengers: Endgame

Apparently, there are some interviews with the directors where they resolve a lot of people's questions. To which I say, if the movie doesn't stand on its own, maybe it's not great, and also Dumbledore isn't gay. To my mind, the movies stand on their own: none of the objections are crushing faults....

I'm not sure how old Scott Lang is meant to be but Paul Rudd is 50. Scott has a master's degree in electrical engineering. He must be pretty smart, but somehow they are trying to play him off as kind of a goof ball. Also he seems a bit too old to be agog at Rogers.

The more I think of it, the more Fridge Horror I think of: Bruce uses the gauntlet to steal half of humanity (and I suppose other species) from 2018 shortly before Thanos snaps his fingers. Per Bruce's explanation, these changes don't affect their present reality, but create some alt...

There is not much I can say in the non-spoiler category other than that this was a very satisfying conclusion. Three hours but not feel long. We pretty much knew this would be Tony and Steve's last appearance, one way or another, and their endings were very fitting. I did not at all expect Natas...

I'd argue those weren't a "real" trilogy in that you can watch them in any order without messing up anything. IDKAT I mean the first one is clearly the first one. That's where the characters meet. But you could swap 2 and 3 without any hassle. That's why I think the marketing for "th...

There are still some folks around the traps saying it is Hamill.

But note that imdb lists Ian in the credits for this movie.

Also, I thought it was cute that they showed Kylo's helmet being welded..."yeah we're going to fix some of the things that got broken in TLJ"

Some brief non spoiler comments... Unlike a lot of modern superhero movies, I would very much class this as a kids' movie, albeit one that adults can enjoy. In the Shazam trailer, Billy laughs when he hears Shazam's name. Perhaps he's familiar with the music app of that name, or is familiar with the now rare exclamation.
