Re: Guilty pleasures

Pirates of The Caribbean. I act all ''who wants to watch that crap,'' but I actually enjoy all three part very much.

Don't know if it's really that strange, but for me it's this:

Re: Pizza Toppings

I like basically any pizza topping, but give me a thin dough tomato sauce + lotsa cheese + pepperoni pie topped with fresh tomato slices (only added during the last few minutes of baking, to keep'em juicy) and all is right in the world for that moment.

Re: Favorite Sad Song

Strange Fruit. Originally sung by Billie Holiday, I believe, but I'm particularly fond of the cover done by the band Karate.

Re: Pink Floyd - Meddle

This should probably go in the 'Unpopular Opinions' thread, but San Tropez is my favorite Pink Floyd song. I love the whole album, it's probably even my favorite of theirs, but San tropez is unlike anything else in their entire discography and I still find it awesome. And I feel this needs to be men...

Re: What Albums Are You Excited For?

I'm far from being a metalhead, but the news about Boris releasing a new album made me very, very happy. Yeah, it's due april 2008, but still. Apart from that I'm currently not looking forward to anything in particular. Maybe My Bloody Valentine, but there's no way they can make something with Lovel...

Re: So, shoegaze (recommend me some)

Get some Bowery Electric. Seriously. There's quite some repetition, and the music has a bit of a trip-hoppy feel, actually, but oh my god is getting into it wotrh every second! Pure layered bliss, I'm telling you. They have some songs at their Myspace site , but those aren't my favorite tracks (alth...

Re: Favorite Band that no one has heard of!

The Necks seem to be pretty unknown. They're Australian and their music is some sort of amazing ambiental jazz. The majority of their songs have a length above 40 minutes; so it's perfect for background music, but I don't even have any problem with actively listening to it - if you pay attention you...

Re: POST HERE FIRST - INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

Well my name is A... eh, for the sake of not fucking people's shit up with pronunciation, let's just say Andrew - it's similar enough. I'm 19, from Ljubljana, Slovenia (bet you don't have any other Slovenes here yet, ha!), and I am a student of the English language and literature at the Faculty of A...
