Re: High and low point of your day

High: Slept for four hours during the day, and I feel less sick. Low: Missed the entire football game (this is a questionable low point, as far as I'm concerned) High: Spent some time hanging out with an old friend of mine from my hometown. Low: Got back to be reminded that our computer science home...

Re: Woman thread - Is it as good for you as it is for me?

Over last summer I dyed my hair with reddish-purple overtones. (It's dark brown, pretty much black). I really liked having hair that looked different in the sun, but it's pretty much all gone by now (it wasn't permanent anyway). Anyway my question is this: What can I do with dark brown/black Asian h...

Switch/case ftw. I've used dozens of switch/case statements, and I still always forget the goddamn breaks. ALWAYS. This is probably because I'm new to programming, but I think just resolved a bug by taking OUT all my breaks? I don't know why. It looks like this, and actually compiles now: switch(co...

For me, spiders are just as bad as other bugs, and sometimes worse. I've tried to figure this out before, and I can't figure out why. Maybe it's the way they move, or the creepiness they're often portrayed with in movies and books and things, which I've just absorbed. I'm generally okay, though; I c...
