Awww. I was getting all choked up for the poor little thing. Although that said, I couldn't help thinking of the Ikea guy in my head. "Do you feel sorry for the little robot? That is because you are crazy. It has no feelings. And the new one is much better." Edit: And clearly I got ninja'd...

I haven't been on these forums in ages, so I'm really not all that sure. But about the time I read what was going on, all I thought was "Oh, THAT'S where the practical joke is." and moved on. It's not like there was another April Fools' joke on the site. I'd been wondering all day if they ...

Lots of people seem to go with Mario Brothers... I might need to change it if I can ever find something other than "I kissed a Girl" when I search for them. I did have the Doctor Who theme, but it was way too quite, and only like, 10 seconds long. Which is mostly small woosh noises. The &q...

Re: "House of Pancakes" Discussion

Wow, I love this comic. House of Leaves has been one of my favourite books for years, ever since I read it in my first year of University. It terrified me, I had to read the book with my back against a wall, for fear that the wall I couldn't see while sitting at my desk would turn ash grey and stret...

Re: "Things fall apart" Discussion

I read this as the guy truly being in love with the girl. Like, she thinks there's something wrong, and the guy is just trying to say there's nothing wrong, that he still loves her and everything is actually just fine. But maybe that's a little influenced by my personal situation, because I'm fairly...

Re: Girl Thread: You make me feel like a natural womaaaan

I was talking to some male friends earlier about how eggs are still (kinda) vegetarian. The argument was that you're still killing an animal. I mentioned that the eggs we eat aren't fertilized. So the resulting response was: "So, it's like the difference between menstruating and abortion in rel...

Well, thanks for the helpful empire waist guidelines and mini-education. I'm going to decide against it until I can actually try one on, since it seems to be pretty body/person specific as to whether it works. And uh, I'm sorry to have indirectly spurred on .. this. I found it a little annoying that the empire waists were being trashed on here just after I got 4 as Christmas gifts. Having viewed the catwalk model and the other "flattering" photo I have come to the conclussion that empire waists are the silliest, least attractive fashion development in the history of mankind. I find propeller beanies sexier and more flattering. As for the monocle and top hat, I was u...

I find it funny when people say "stop wearing makeup". I'm sure that more often than not the women you see whom you claim aren't wearing makeup and look better, are probably wearing a very small amount which just enhances. From clear lip gloss, to just eye lining, to subtle eyeshadow. Eve...

The God feeling isn't actually about pleasing your partner. That's just how it starts. It has to do with POWER. The more of it you can release with the smallest effort, the more godly you feel. The same feeling happens when driving powerful cars. And shooting guns. And many other things that men te...
