Just a thought to add: Would your scheme even work? If I was a lab assistant, I'd be wondering what kind of code you have that would take a long time to compile in an intro to C++ course. I was reading along and it seems that everyone has been too focused on getting the used program to take a long time to compile. Well it should be relatively easy to write a metaprogram that references itself, builds upon certain commands and such, and would essentially create a loop that would compi...

I didn't like any of the code that I saw... But then again I know next to nothing about coding. So I wrote my own bash script for the lovely linux users! It will need some changes for personalization, but I don't know how to make the code to span across different installs and such... I will make sur...
