### Re: I humbly request you help once more.

Whenever I do the integration, I don't end up with an answer that really looks anything like that. It's kind of a problem.

### I humbly request you help once more.

Your reward for this: exactly 2.5 internets, payable to you as you see fit. Also, they're tax-free. Refer to the integral below. int (sin(t))^2 dt (a) Evaluate the integral using integration by parts. Give your answer using the form below. (-1/A)sin(Bt)cos(Dt) + (1/F)t + C A = B = D = F = (b) Evalua...

Hey guys, I've got two math problems to do tonight, but I'm sick as a dog and my mind won't work. Please to help. 1) A car, initially moving at 60 mph decelerates at a constant rate and stops 2 miles away (note that we do not know the initial position). What is the deceleration? Initial position = ?...

A=4*Sin(theta)(8+(8+16cos(theta))) A=4*Sin(theta)(8+8+16cos(theta)) A=4*Sin(theta)(16+16cos(theta)) A=16*4*Sin(theta)(1 + cos(theta)) A=64*Sin(theta)(1 + cos(theta)) d'oh. I must need sleep. Should that 64 drop out? Otherwise, I get: dA/d(theta) = 64*cos(theta) * (1+cos(theta)) + sin(theta) * (64si...

### Re: I should know this...gah!

I did the second one, but I used the outside angle as theta to make the calculations easier. Once you find the value of theta you can just take 180 - theta to get the value you need. I started with A = .5h(B1 + B2) h = 8Sin(theta) (If theta is the outside angle, the height of the trapezoid is going...

Hey guys. Your help would be much appreciated. A manager of a store notes that if she charges \$20 for on item, then, on average she sells 179 items per week. For each \$1 increase in price, the number of sales per week drops by 5. What price will maximize the revenue? I can't set up the function. >_<...

You know, that polar bear pickup only works if they DON'T know the average weight of a polar bear. You: Hey, do you know how much a polar bear weighs? Them: About 500 pounds (I'm not looking it up). You: Enough to-...wait, what? This topic reminds me: You: Baby, I'm like a derivative to your functio...
