Re: favorite lines/quotes from books

The Stranger has some of the best lines in it, including the first one: Maman died today. Or yesterday maybe, I don't know. and my favorite line ever, which is amazing given the context (our "protagonist" has just killed a man, and is being questioned by an officer. He is very nonchalant a...

Re: Pitchfork needs to get Pitchforked

A lot of the people in this thread are just as pretentious as pitchfork is. You can't be mad at them for doing what they do; what you should really be mad about is the amount of people who only listen to what pitchfork says is good. I'm a DJ at my school's radio station, and i personally feel that i...

I have a three step process to open coconuts every time:

1. Use a screwdriver/nail to open all three little holes
2. drain the juice into a cup
3. smash the coconut by throwing it on the sidewalk outside my apartment

I just voted in the Ames, Iowa Caucus. Obama got 203 out of 481 votes, Hillary got 83, Edwards got 111 or 112, i forget. Most of the rest went to Bill Richardson, and the rest of the democrats.

Obama definitely won Iowa btw.

Re: Top 5 Influential Albums to Your Current Musical Taste

I used to be really into heavy metal like 5 years ago, now i don't listen to it at all. These albums are probably the most influential on my current taste: 1. Radiohead, KidA- I don't really know what to say here; this album is awesome. Radiohead kinda taught me that bleak and empty are not terms wh...

you just have to think of Amnesiac as a double album paired up with Kid A. According to i tunes i listen to Amnesiac more than Kid A, but i think that whenever i want to hear awesome Radiohead without my brain melting, i tend to pick Amnesiac.

I've listened to it about 12 times now, here's what i think. 15 step, track #1) on my first time through, i was a bit shocked, but now it sounds better each time. Bodysnatchers, track#2) They got everything right here. This may be my favorite instance of Thom's singing in all of Radiohead. Nude, tra...
