Re: "Egg Drop Failure" Discussion

I remember a project similar to this in my first year of high school. The goal was to keep your object (weighted blob of plasticine) in the air for the longest amount of time, by dropping it off the second story with a hastily made parachute (made within the hour). Several dropped harder than bricks...

Re: "Scantron" Discussion

I can only remember one time where it couldn't read what I had put down. Usually its alright (God I hope no one was hurt), guess it was having a bad day, or just hated me. My teacher pulled me up saying that I should have used the correct pencil. T "Josh, it has to be dark enough for the machin...

Re: Awesome Teacher Quotes

I've got two that I can think of. Teacher telling me off for listening to my friend's mp3 player. Teacher: Get that out of your ear! You might catch something! Me: Like what? Christianity? My math teacher trying to teach the more ignorant kids. Teacher: Now, an easy way to remember this is 'All Seco...

Re: "Actuarial" Discussion

I would have said 2022, but that's because I used to make this godawful comic called 2022 when I was, like, eleven , so the year has stuck in my mind. Comics from youth are great! My brother was a comic genius when he made them. This would be something close to 10 years ago. We were forced to go to...

Insomnia is extra fun if you have a roommate who talks in his sleep. My thoughts never became too strange, but his clearly did. Here's a short list of things he said in the wee hours of the morning: Is it magnetic? Are there squirrels? Is it locked? Meep meep meep, incorrect! Okay, I'll have an org...

Except for the recent case with Bioshock, I can always wait to buy something, especially since I can get it cheaper online a lot of times (free shipping at Amazon usually, and no sales tax, yay!). But I'm also frugal with my money, so when I spend my money, I look for the best deal. Also, fi...

Well, there is always the chance that their combined social awkwardness due to this could actually calm the situation... that would be a pretty bad (or good) outcome.

I have received plenty over the story that I told everyone in this post about the girl I liked at the time.
In fact, I received a death threat the other day, even though it happened 3 years ago. I talked to the girl about it and she doesn't even know half the people that want to kill me.

I don't get why people were sad when Aeris died. She annoyed me, especially when she forced herself into my party when you go into the temple of the ancients. Am I the only one that laughed when she died? I didn't laugh 'cause of her death, it was more because I didn't expect it. *SCREAMS LOUDLY* A...
