Kicksend

They're a recent startup, but I like their implementation so far.

Re: "Crime Scene" Discussion

I just wanted to post that I loved Square One when I was a kid. I wish they had them all on DVD now... I'd love to be able to show them to my kids when they're in elementary school.

Squaaaaaaare ONE!

Re: "Bass" discussion

I so want one of those. The punk-ass neighbor kid likes to have sex with his gf in his car with the bass turned up to cover up the noise at like 1AM. This would eloquently solve my problem of bass waking me up...

Re: Rock Band

I found that if I just strum hard enough I get the clickity feedback.

Also, RB is fun but none of my friends seem interested in coming over and playing it. So I'm left to play alone.

Re: "Startling" discussion

I use this line all the time, "C'mon people, its the 21st Century, lets go!" Usually in reference to someone being a luddite. Its the future , we need to get moving instead of filing paper documents, using fax machines and other prehistoric behavior. My god! It all happened so fast! Im act...

Re: Getting Out of Hand

Very funny.

I do have my laptop on my bed, but I dont see me trying to open it during sex to look something up.

Of course, I haven't had to worry about the sex part in 1,116 days.

What was the formula for the upper bound?

Also, the creepiness rule is interesting.

Still I agree with the sentiment in the first panel - at age 26 all the girls I know are engaged/married, divorced or crazy (not the good kind of crazy either, the probably bipolar and should be on meds crazy).

This also is optimal for non-nerd stuff. e.g. a cute and fashion savvy friend of my sister took me shopping a few weeks ago for clothes. It worked well because as a nerd I have no fashion sense, and she knows what is hip. So I spend $300 on clothes and can manage to look not so much like a nerd anym...

WTF? Developers can have dates?

I haven't had a date in three years. On the plus side, I have no orphaned projects! Other than the ones users decided to not use. Their loss.

Re: "Names" discussion

Alt-text: I'm always so happy that I successfully nagivated the introduction that I completely forget to pay attention to the name the other person told me. Yea that pretty much sums up my life. I have to go ask my friend the next day to make sure I get the names straight. If I do manage to get a g...

No, Maggie doesn't die in the simpsons movie.

Plus I figure the part about dresses would have made that obvious. What man can fit in a onesie. (and no, I don't want to see examples of that)

I'm still lost on the Maggie thing too.
