Re: Super Smash Bros.

This thread was tl;dr, but am I the only one who's noticed that the random character selection is, well, not entirely random? I have a friend who only plays random and it seems to set him up as ROB, DK, Bowser, or De De De as often at not. It seems that just about every other game he's one of those...

Coheed and Cambria. I don't understand how anyone could possibly enjoy the singer's voice, to me it's a headache on a compact disc. Yeah, the singer's voice is pretty annoying actually... but apart from that I quite like their music. I wouldn't really call them overrated though, as they aren't even...

Re: PHP: Updating image on page

You could always do what I do and take the lazy way out. I usually have a MySQL table with two entries: number and filename. The filename would obviously be the filename, and the number would be the comic number (Starting at 1). So my page would be like this: <pre-HTML> <?php mysqlConnect($user, $pa...

Has there ever been a more talented bass player than Victor Wooten? I find it unlikely. Link 1 Solo Link 2 Amazing Grace Not more talented, but I've always personally preferred Les Claypool's bass solos to Wooten's. Although I will concur that Wooten is the more talented bass player of the two, I t...

Getting ambushed is a good way to die. Avoid it. Don't fight out in the open if it can be helped (the open spaces in the Gnomish Mines is what makes it a difficult area,) stick to the hallways where only two monsters can attack you. Have a way to escape, and be prepared to run away. Monsters don't ...

I use Ext3. Not because it's the default option but because it's my filesystem of choice; I find it's journal abilities fast and useful, and it's r/w speed isn't so bad either; It's a jack of all trades but a master of none. And that's precisely how I like my filesystems. Although, I will admit, I'v...
