Re: Non-kill-centric games. (I know...that's not a word)

Does anyone think that Doom was one of the main FPS that started the genre? Anywho, All the puzzle games, such as Bubbles, Zuma, Bejeweled. Growing up, I had Oregon Trail (the original 1974 version, and the updated '92 version). Also, I enjoyed games made by "The Learning Company" (which W...

I don't remember ever seeing a green Pokemon game.

However, red-green-blue are the colors of the 3 Pokemon you could start off with, and then yellow once Pikachu became so popular and they released yellow game.

Ok, I am a bit further in now, and gameplay is good. I'm not always notorious, so I can walk past guards without needing to fight them. Of course, now that I have weapons, I am unstoppable! haha

Re: Assassin's Creed 2

Just started AC2, and haven't played much of it yet, but so far I'm annoyed with the fact that I can't even look in the direction of a guard before they are chasing me. Maybe that's due to the fact that I'm not far enough in the game to blend? I don't know. Also, didn't like the fact that they just ...

Just watched Jurassic Park 3. When Alan calls Ellie for help, and the little boy answers the phone, he goes to bring the phone to her, but gets distracted by the TV. Which is playing Barney.

This game kept me and my buddies sane in Afghanistan... Played through multiple times, explored all the different ways to defend with Last Stand, play as a Michael Jackson zombie... Oh, and people under-estimate the usefulness of garlic. It's cheap, and more effective than a Tallnut (for most zombie...

I've gotten around to starting into House of Leaves, but the style of the book has prompted me to ask you fine people a question about it. Do you think it would be better to read it straight through, page by page, or to read the manuscript and its footnotes first, then go back for Truant's story? A...

In the last year, which I spent in Afghanistan, I know I read at least 30 books. And they were mostly 300+, with a few over 1000. And that's when I wasn't working.

*edit* maybe once my box arrives back to the states, I will list the ones I read.

Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

Hello all! I'm gonna go with the cliched "first time caller, long time listener" bit, as it applies to the internet. I read this comic on a daily basis (with the exception of the year twenty-ten, as I was in Afghanistan making people like Bean_Delphiki run into walls as hard as they can). ...
